Maryland Attorney Asher Weinberg was raised on Long Island, New York. He has lived throughout the US, both for work and for school.
Prior to going to law school, Asher worked in the hospitality business for almost 12 years. From waiter to bartender to bar-owner, his primary focus was on taking care of his customers and treating each one as an individual, with dignity and respect.
Eventually Mr. Weinberg left the service industry and attended law school. After graduation, he started volunteering full-time providing legal services to low income people, primarily those with landlord-tenant issues, and also worked for the Office of Public Defense. Over the years, Asher has represented thousands of people accused of a wide variety of crimes and he has represented clients in every county throughout Maryland. Asher has litigated over 30 felony jury trials and many more misdemeanors.
Throughout his time as a criminal defense attorney, Asher has strived to become an expert on DUI defense. He has won DUI trials in State and federal courts, and he has also written novel motions to suppress unconstitutional stops, which have been adopted by attorneys throughout Maryland. Asher enjoys advocating zealously for his clients.
